Colorado Muslim Society Condemns Yesterday’s Attack in Manchester

For Immediate Release

The Colorado Muslim Society is deeply saddened by the recent attack in Manchester, England.

We whole hearty stand against violence and any act of terror against innocent civilians. These actions have no place in Islam and should not be associated with the practice of the 1.5 billion peaceful Muslims that have made Islam their way of life around the world.

The Colorado Muslim Society is blessed to have a supportive community, both Muslim and non-Muslim alike that stands in solidarity with the mosque. The Muslim community in Denver is a peaceful and loving community that is without incident and remains extends those same sentiments to our neighbors to our non-Muslim neighbors because of our nurturing congregation.

As Muslims around the world prepare for Ramadan, the holiest month of the Islamic calendar, Muslims everywhere will pray for those who were affected
in yesterday’s attack so that they may find peace.
